Rusty is back home safe and sound. Danielle's sisters are back home. Status quo has been resumed. I'm going to miss them all terribly.
Today started out with cleaning out my grandma's house so we can have a garage sale and get the house or whatever into probate. I'm really not sure how it all works, but dad and his siblings are handling it. Then it was off to dad and my buddy's house to make stickers for the trailer and our everyday vehicles that basically say how many championships I've won (A.N.R.A. - 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012. NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series - 2008, 2009 & 2011. March Meet - 2009 & 2012. All in the nostalgia eliminator 3 class). Eight out of ten possible championships won in 5 years. I try to be humble and generally I am because I'm fairly positive my dumb luck will run out very soon, so I'll only say this once: I'm kind of a bad ass. From sticker making I went with Danielle to her house where some of our friends were hanging out with Danielle's brother. Somewhere during hanging out we decided we needed to move the chicken coop, so that happened. Yeah. Chickens. I know. Ludicrous. Especially the wrangling of them into their nesting boxes to we could move the freaking coop. Dinner time rolled around and Danielle and I made our regular trip to Seal Beach for Rocharin Thai Bistro. Best Thai food I've ever eaten in my life. If you can, go there. Then it was off to the Asian dollar store for... Crap. Stuff I don't need but for $1.50 I couldn't do without suddenly. Women are stupid. Yes we are. Next was Joann's for plastic/wood eggs so we can try to fool the damn chickens so they'll stop eating their own eggs. Disgusting damn creatures. I painted the wooden eggs to match the ones the stupid creatures lay. There's something I'll never say again... Hopefully. Now we're just sitting on our phones blogging. Crazy day. Productive though. I'm just waiting for tomorrow. Maybe it'll be crazy like today, but then again I could do nothing all day. I wanna see how it turns out. Stay tuned, folks.
Oh, by the way, Danielle has been linked a lot this post. *hint hint* Go look at her blog. You can learn all about her chickens and the adventures with Rusty this past week. Check his blog and music out too.
